Steampunk Bessie is an imaginative example of a steampunk ideal. Steampunk style incorporates technology and aesthetic designs inspired by 19th century industrial steam-powered machinery. It can illustrate an alternative history of the 19th century’s British Victorian era or American “Wild West”.
I have painted carousel animals in the past. Once for a production of Carousel I painted 4 horses. And I was hired at Disney World to help repaint some of their damaged carousel animals. So, I’m very familiar with painting animals like this. I will paint this design with 3 dimensionality in mind. From a few feet away people with thing the gears are actually 3-D.
