Tell us a little about yourself…

Having a childhood background filled with a talented family who were, and still are, loving and partaking in the arts and music industry, has only made it easier to excel in my own interests of music and painting. I’m very thankful to be surrounded by such a loving family. It was only natural to pick up on these interests at a young age and so when my parents saw my potential in drawing abilities and interest in music, dance, and singing, they supported them with the tools; a piano, dance lessons, an art easel and a charcoal set, as well as all their love and moral support, to help my interest grow from there.

Participate in the arts, be it creating, or admiring creations of others. It’s good for your soul.

My passion for painting and music carried me to a professional level working with my dad and brother in the music industry as well as selling my art to the public through galleries. Moving to the Central Coast I gained more experience and tools of the trade, painting murals, work in computer graphics and editing video productions. From there, it’s been participating in shows and art festivals, joining art galleries, and creating paintings with themes for charity events. Participating in the arts in any form or fashion has always brought me happiness. No matter what your age being creative is good for your soul. Find your passion, take an art class, or learn to playing an instrument. My dad and uncle learned the banjo at 65! So, you’re never too old to learn new things, that’s a fact. Speaking of age, I’ll leave you with a word of advice from my dad, who was a good example to us all and lived a happy life to the age of 101. He said, “A happy mind makes a healthy body, do what you love to do, and stay happy!”
